Profile

Andrea Zoppini is Full Professor of Institutions of Private Law at the Department of Law of Roma Tre University, where he previously taught Law and Economics (the Franco Romani Chair, established with the support of the Bank of Italy) and International Business Contracts.

Born in Rome on September 15, 1965, he graduated cum laude in Law from Sapienza University of Rome in 1988. He is a member of the Rome Bar Association and is admitted to practice before the Italian Supreme Courts.

He studied at the University of Cambridge and Heidelberg University, and was a visiting scholar at Yale Law School and New York University School of Law.

From 1998 to 2001 he taught Comparative Private Law and Institutions of Private Law at the University of Sassari.
